Code C Employee Diversity Board Spotlight

Welcome to the launch of the Code C Employee Diversity Board segment within the IEMP Scene Newsletter. Each month the Diversity Board will provide a feature article spotlighting diversity related topics. In addition, these monthly write-ups will both seek to increase diversity awareness and understanding while highlighting the activities and achievements of diversity efforts across Code C.

ARC Diversity Mission Statement

  • Create an inclusive work environment that recognizes and appreciates all employees’ perspective
  • Provide each employee with opportunities to reach their highest career potential
  • Embed diversity principles in decision-making processes to reinforce a high-performance culture

The Code C Employee Diversity Board is comprised of volunteer members throughout the organization. The Diversity Board identified objectives for achieving the mission of diversity by creating a Code C Diversity Action Plan. What are the goals of the Code C Diversity Action Plan?

  • Demonstrate management commitment to employees by developing strategies and providing resources that will increase the value of diversity within Code C;
  • Promote inclusion and ensure that diversity awareness is integrated into Code C activities and decision making;
  • Improve employee access to career opportunities through training and mentoring to create viable candidates for higher-level positions;
  • Support improvements to the working environment by ensuring success of diversity initiatives.
