Organization Mission:
This Mission Support Office, established in accordance with the Chief Financial Officers Act of 1990, provides professional leadership for the planning, analysis, justification, procurement, control, and reporting of all ARC fiscal resources, and for ARC strategic management and planning and performance measurement.
The Office of the Chief Financial Officer provides end-to-end coordination of the resources management process; provides a financial management system that effectively manages, controls, safeguards, and accounts for the government's assets; designs and supports the development of budgeting and accounting systems; provides program/project controls and analysis; and supports the development of long-term budget strategies and strategic planning.
In addition, the Office of the Chief Financial Officer participates in planning and decision-making sessions with the Center Director and other top management officials; represents the Center in top management discussions with Headquarters, other NASA Centers, and other agencies; and supervises the activities of the Resources Management Division, Program Analysis and Business Integration Division, Financial Management Divisions, and Business Systems Office.
